Piping Designer – Early Engineering & Construction Company, Huntington, WV    2012-2012

Shop fabrication drawings for Dominion Gas, PA Terminal Facility Upgrade.  Importation from 3-D “H2W United” CADWorx Model, using Bentley SpoolGen.  Annotation and checking of finalized shop-fab dwgs using AutoCAD.

Piping Iso-dwgs and checking, Kureha Chemical Plant, Belle, WV.

Deep and Surface mine mapping and surveying; AutoCAD with Carlson SurvCAD.

Surface mine boundary permitting, Geo Core Hole drawings, surface water runoff, blasting maps, contouring, and coal volumes. Surveying/Roding & Spad setup for high wall and deep mines. Piping Designer– Middough Engineering / Marathon Ashland Petroleum, Ashland, KY     2001-2004

Piping P&ID walk down and design estimating. Drawings on MicroStation2D.

Designer for P&ID walk down of site fuel gas and hydrogen system.  Successfully updated P&ID’s allowing planners to size new plant upgrade.  Assisted with design and construction estimates for Asset Development Project.

 

Pipeline Designer – Columbia Gas Transmission, Charleston, WV     1994-2001

New and refurbished transmission facility design packages including: Compressor Station, Pig Launcher-Receivers, Valve Sets, Drying and Odorization.  Developed Access database for automated material listing into MicroStation.  Implemented VISIO drawing program for Gas Control Group to create gas control diagrams.  Developed pipe specs for Transmission Engineering Group, using Access.

 

Piping Designer – Union Carbide, MTI/CDI Corp., Charleston, WV     1993-1994

TRITON Surfactant project. Isometric drawings from scale model. Extensive field sketching facilitating tie-ins to existing equipment.

 

Piping Designer/PDS – Litwin Engineering, Inc., Houston, TX     1992-1993

Prepared extensive field sketches for tie-in and demo drawings for HDS Unit.  3-D computer modeling from one-line layouts and flowsheets.  Interference reports, Iso extraction, elevation, ortho generation, vessel, and equipment modeling.  Developed Isometric drawings for compressor analog studies.  One-line diagrams for Exxon Chem Butadoene design estimates.

 

Piping Designer/PDS – Brown & Root Engineering, Houston, TX     1990-1992

PDS Modeler, Texas Eastman Polyethylene Facility pipe routing from civil model and P&ID’s.

Iso Extraction, Interference Reports, Plan and Ortho Generation.  PDS Modeler on Exxon Mobile Bay Offshore Production Platforms, computer modeling of custom instrument bridles.

 

Piping Designer/Model Maker/PDS Training – Kellogg Engineering., Houston, TX     1987-1990

Scale modeling Sandoz Chemical Herbicide Unit, working from one-line piping layouts and continuously revised P&ID’s. Completed Kellogg training class: Intergraph PDS 3-D piping and equipment modeling.
